An Attitude of Gratitude
November 25, 2005
Thanksgiving “Gratitude is an attitude, not just for today, but for a lifetime and a lifestyle”. ~~Bob Cline As a member of the UPC Community, I just couldn’t miss this opportunity to express my thanks for: • Each and every one of you for who you are and what you bring to UPC. • The incredible staff that works behind the scenes to build the structure correctly, the first time. • The incredible timing that has allowed us to get positioned ahead of a “once” event, the transition to the internet of our culture and society. • The suppliers and vendors that we have been blessed to work with that share our values. • The ethical standards we promote that separate us from the competition. • The ability to help over 100 Million people improve their lifestyles without hurting anyone else in the process. • The opportunity to equip businesses and organizations for the next century. • The role model entrepreneurs and companies that have paved the way for us. • The superior products that allow us to promote with confidence. • The third party documentation that continues to come in from such noteworthy sources as Dunn and Bradstreet. • The opportunity to share with the entire world, setting an example for other companies with our unique structure and high standards. • The free countries in which we live that allow us to enjoy the fruits of our labor. • The opportunity to give out of our abundance, both as a company through UnlimitedProvisions.org and as individuals that care about our world. As we all pause to reflect at this special time, I want to encourage you to focus on what is right rather than what is wrong, what is sound instead of what is disintegrating, what is painless instead of what hurts, what we have instead of what we don’t have, what we can give instead of what we cannot afford to give. For this is the true blessing of Thanksgiving, an attitude of gratitude and a sense of peace.
